Terms of Service

Inebrious is operated by Micah Rousey, a sole proprietor in Connecticut. These Terms of Service govern access to Inebrious.com, its public venue listings and editorial content, community features, accounts, and operator tools. Paid subscriptions are also governed by the Subscription Terms, Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

By accessing or using Inebrious, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for a venue or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept them for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Inebrious is intended for people who are at least 21 years old. You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.

Do not share paid-account credentials, impersonate another person or venue, create accounts through automated means, or use another person's account without permission. Inebrious may require reasonable verification before granting venue-management or administrative access.

You retain ownership of reviews, photos, logos, recipes, menus and other material you submit. You grant Inebrious a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display and distribute that material as needed to operate, secure and promote the service. This license ends when the content is deleted from the service, except for reasonable backup, legal and archival retention and material already shared outside Inebrious with your permission.

Only submit material you have the right to use. Community reviews must describe a genuine experience and must not be fabricated, purchased, retaliatory, defamatory, harassing, unlawful, promotional spam or unrelated to the beverage experience. Do not upload confidential information, complete payment-card details, malicious code or content that infringes another person's privacy, copyright, trademark or other rights.

Inebrious may moderate, refuse, remove or restrict user content that violates these terms or creates a legal, security or integrity risk. Moderation does not make Inebrious responsible for user content, and publication does not mean Inebrious endorses it.

Inebrious editorial reviews are research-based assessments of beverage programs. Sources and available evidence vary by venue, menus change, and a review may become outdated. Unless a review expressly says otherwise, it is not a claim that an Inebrious reviewer visited the venue in person. Scores and editorial judgments are opinions, not guarantees of quality, availability, service or a particular experience.

Advertising, paid membership, claimed-profile status and Premium Beverage Partner status do not affect editorial scores or best-of placement. Community ratings are separate from editorial scores. Venues and readers may request a factual correction by emailing Micah@Inebrious.com; Inebrious retains editorial control over opinions, scores and wording.

You may use the public site for personal, noncommercial discovery and may link to public Inebrious pages. Except where a paid plan expressly allows it, you may not scrape or systematically copy the site, reproduce substantial portions of the database, resell content, remove rights notices, reverse engineer protected features, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or use Inebrious content or data to build a competing directory, review product, model or dataset.

Venue names, menus, hours, prices, websites, reservation links and other details can change without notice. Confirm important information directly with the venue. Links and integrations provided by Google, Stripe, Supabase, authentication providers, reservation services or other third parties are governed by those providers' terms and privacy practices; Inebrious is not responsible for third-party services.

Inebrious does not provide medical, legal, tax, food-safety, alcohol-licensing or regulatory advice. Drink responsibly and never drink and drive. Recipe costs, suggested prices, margins and operational guidance are estimates and planning tools; venue operators remain responsible for ingredient verification, allergens, staff training, permits, taxes, pricing and compliance with applicable law.

The Inebrious name, site design, original editorial content, scoring presentation, software and subscription materials are owned by Inebrious or used with permission and are protected by applicable law. Venue names and third-party marks belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

To report content that you believe infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, email Micah@Inebrious.com with the page URL, a description of the material and your basis for requesting removal. Inebrious may ask for information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request.

Inebrious may suspend or terminate access, remove content or protect the service when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, nonpayment, security risks or material violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Ending an account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription; follow the Cancellation Policy to stop renewal.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inebrious is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or noninfringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inebrious and Micah Rousey will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from use of the service. For claims relating to a paid service, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid Inebrious for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Claims must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Connecticut unless applicable consumer law requires another forum. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

Inebrious may update these terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. Material changes apply prospectively, and notice will be provided when required. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
