Vitamin Sea Brewing turns its strongest bias into a comparison exercise. Five New England IPAs occupy the current Weymouth board, but each can be ordered as a 5-ounce pour. Nice & Easy isolates Citra at 4.9%; Atlantic Sunset adds Pacific Sunrise; Summer uses Citra, Cascade and Columbus; Joga Bonito Knockout Stage pairs Citra with Mosaic; and Double Summer raises the Citra-Cascade-Columbus combination to 8.2%. Electric Meadow adds Cascade, Citra and Nelson Sauvin on nitro. The repetition is real, yet the fixed sample format makes the differences testable rather than rhetorical. The exits from haze are vivid. Silhouette With Watermelon folds fruit into a clove-and-banana hefeweizen, Surf Roots Pilsner puts Citra into a bitter West Coast frame, and Rosarito stays light at 4%. Sour Pipe Project Shave Ice combines mango, pineapple, passion fruit, orange and marshmallow; Diversity of the Word serves coffee-and-chocolate Irish dry stout on nitro. Most samples cost $5 and full pours $8, rising to $6 and $9 for the double IPA, sour and hard seltzer. Three Kit nonalcoholic beers and Busty Lush mocktails are useful but not house-made. This is a specific, transparent taproom with excellent sampling logic, held just below the top tier by how much of the board still speaks fluent hazy IPA.

What should I order?: Use 5-ounce pours to compare Nice & Easy, Atlantic Sunset and Double Summer before committing to a full IPA. Then switch fermentation and texture with Surf Roots Pilsner or nitro Diversity of the Word; Silhouette With Watermelon is the fruit-and-wheat wildcard.
Who will enjoy this place?: Hazy-IPA drinkers who care about hop combinations, groups that prefer samples over preset flights, and beer fans who want a lager, fruit sour, wheat beer or nitro stout available as a reset.
When should I go?: The taproom operates daily; weekdays offer the best chance to compare several small pours without the busier weekend can-release traffic. Thursday through Sunday adds rotating food trucks, while outside food is always permitted.
What should I expect to spend?: Most 5-ounce samples cost $5 and full pours $8. Double Summer, Sour Pipe Project and Seas And Desist cost $6 or $9; 12-ounce Kit nonalcoholic beer costs $5 and Busty Lush mocktails cost $7.
What makes the beverage program distinctive?: Identically sized samples turn six overlapping hazy and nitro hop recipes into a side-by-side hop study, while fruit, lager and stout supply deliberate escape routes.

The Italian sandwich's cured meat, provolone, pickles and hot peppers can absorb Double Summer; caprese suits Surf Roots Pilsner; and the Calabrian-chile Italian roll gives the fruit sour a savory foil. Outside food can be brought in every day.
